My Story
My name is Narsingh Saxena. I am a Scientist, turned Management Consultant, who is now a Scholar of the Philosophy of Vedas and a practitioner of Vedic Meditation. After acquiring my master’s degree in Physics from IIT Banaras (BHU), India, I became a Geophysicist at the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation of India. Later, the rising wave of the modern management impressed me, and I completed my MBA, from Strathclyde University at Glasgow UK, specializing in Strategic Management.
I received a full scholarship to do my PhD in Strategic Management, sponsored by Motorola. They invited me to study their corporate restructuring in Chicago, USA. Concurrently, I participated in some research projects at the Northern Illinois University (NIU) and presented research papers at the Academy of Management and Strategic Management society, alongside NIU professors. I published several research papers in various American Management Journals. I then pursued my career in Management Consulting and worked as a Strategy Consultant until 2016.
It was at this point that I thought of dedicating myself to the exploration of the ancient Indian knowledge contained in the scriptures called Vedas and to the practice of Meditation. I spent the next three years undertaking the study of vast and complex Vedic Literature. I then started to condense that knowledge into a lucid, easy to read format.
Being a Scientist, Management Consultant, a Vedic scholar and a practitioner of Meditation, I feel myself well-suited to educate people in this post-modern era about the ancient Vedic Philosophy, on which the system of Meditation is based and guide them through the intricacies of the Meditation technique. I have tried to keep the discussion analytical, rational, and incorporated the principles of Modern Science, mainly Quantum Physics, wherever relevant.
